Our current project focuses on the areas of plasma technology, photocatalytic CO2 conversion, photoreactor design, solar thermal conversion, and catalysis to develop a novel plasma plus light enhanced CO2 conversion process. The integrated process will deliver enhanced CO2 conversion and selectivity toward high value products while functioning at milder operating conditions which require less energy compared to conventional thermo-catalytic approaches. The technology developed by the project offers a cost effective and energy efficient process to generate green products with optimized economics to utilize and monetize both CO2 and H2 to a greater extent than existing technologies.
