My project aims to address the pressing need to reduce carbon footprint for climate change mitigation. Focusing on hard-to-abate industries, the research explores electrochemical CO₂ reduction reactions (CO₂RR) powered by renewable energy. By designing nanomaterial electrocatalysts, the goal is to enhance the selectivity of C-N coupling, facilitating the conversion of CO₂ and nitrogen into valuable chemical products like formamide and urea.
