Project: Trans-scale electrode architectonics for VRFBs: from mass transfer to interface catalysis
It is believed that novel electrocatalyst development together with the shift towards fully-organic systems is a viable strategy to overcome the current technical limitations of existing redox flow battery (RFB) designs and help position itself as a primary choice for stationary energy storage for grid applications globally. This project aims to elucidate unique and emerging concepts in RFB electrocatalysis towards developing cost effective scalable in-situ solutions.
