In the recent paper published in Energy Storage Materials, we reported a conducting layered organic-inorganic hybrid material, which is named as tungstate linked pernigraniline (TALP), which can be synthesised via an easy 'one-pot' method. In single nanosheet of TALP, parallel pernigraniline molecular chains are linked by tungstic acid and arranged into a plane. The supramolecular interaction between pernigraniline and tungstic acid has been confirmed to be hydrogen bonding, through spectroscopic methods. This TALP exhibit high performance at high mass loading, outperforms or at par with most of the state-of-the-art supercapacitor materials, due to collection of good conductivity, large gallery and water intercalate (‘intrinsic 2D electrolyte’) structure.
