Electrocatalysis

Electrocatalysis uses electric current to drive electrochemical reactions on electrodes. A catalyst helps electron transfer between reactants and electrodes, boosting desired reactions.

1

Photocatalysis

At PartCat, our engineered photocatalytic processes and materials efficiently produce hydrogen and reform organic molecules like furfuryl alcohol into valuable products, like precursors for jet fuel.

1

Photo-electrocatalysis

Using photovoltaic technology, we refine semiconductor interfaces, regulate catalytic sites, and optimise photoelectrochemical systems. This enables us to grasp reaction mechanisms and showcase innovative photoelectrochemical systems.

3

Plasma catalysis

Plasma, a mix of charged particles and neutrals, yields high-energy species ideal for breaking bonds and catalysing reactions. Used in environmental cleanup and crafting valuable compounds, plasma catalysis has diverse applications.

1

Thermal catalysis

Thermal catalysis speeds up reactions using heat and a catalyst, which lowers activation energy. This enables quicker reactions at a given temperature by offering an alternate pathway.

1

Techno-economic analysis and environmental analysis

Techno-economic feasibility studies are thorough evaluations that assess whether a project or technology is both technically feasible and economically viable.
