Congratulations to our leader, Scientia Professor Rose Amal for being appointed to the highest level of Order of Australia, the Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) at the 2018 Queens Birthday. This honour recognises Professor Amal's eminent service to chemical engineering and her exceptional achievement for her research into using sunlight to transform carbon dioxide into a sustainable and renewable source of fuel.
She is a great mentor and role model for us and truly inspirational for all young women. We are so proud of her. Congrats Rose!

Prof Rose Amal has been honoured with Companion of Australia in the Queen's Birthday Honour List
