Emeritus Professor Noel Cant died late last week after losing his battle against lymphoma. He was a good friend and colleague of David Trimm.

Although he worked at Macquarie university, he collaborated closely with School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW. Noel had been a great support to Particle and Catalysis research group  for many years. Professor Cant was a legend and the world is now a little less well-off with him gone.

His family has requested that donations to lymphoma research be made in place of flowers. Read his obituary here.
