We are pleased to welcome Dr Zhaoke Zheng, a new postdoctoral research associate into our group. Dr Zhaoke Zheng completed his PHD from Shandong University in 2012 and then accepted a postdoctoral research fellow position in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Prior to joining us, Zhaoke was a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research (SANKEN), Osaka University, Japan working on 'Characteristics of plasmon-enhanced catalytic reactions using time and space-resolved spectroscopy' under guidance of Professor Tetsuro Majima.
Having published over 20 publications, Dr Zheng's research interest focused on: photogenerated charge transfer mechanism at single-particle single-molecule level using time- and space-resolved spectroscopy; development of functional materials for energy and environmental applications; synthesis and morphology control of inorganic nanomaterials; and self- and directed assembly of nanomaterials, surface modification of nanoparticles.
