Project summary
My project focuses on using different precursors to design different kinds of carbon materials, and compounding them with different kinds of transition metals to prepare catalysts to improve the efficiency of NOx reduction reaction (NOxRR). Conversion of nitrate and NO etc. into value-added products, with particular emphasis on the production of ammonia. By improving the performance of the catalyst, a more environmentally friendly and economical method can be used to convert nitrogen oxides into useful products.
