Project summary
My research focuses on the photocatalytic oxidation of methane into value-added chemicals. The project integrates machine learning-guided photocatalyst design, catalyst synthesis, performance evaluation, and advanced characterization to establish structure–activity relationships and enable rational catalyst development. The broader industrial significance lies in developing efficient pathways to valorise methane, a potent greenhouse gas and often underutilised resource, into useful chemical products through sustainable photocatalytic processes
