Project summary
My research focuses on the photoelectrocatalytic conversion of naturally abundant molecules into value-added chemicals using carbon-based catalysts. This work aims to develop sustainable processes that operate under mild conditions while enabling the efficient production of valuable chemical products, such as the partial oxidation of methane to value-added oxygenates. I also investigate how light irradiation influences reaction pathways and enhances catalytic performance, providing fundamental insights for the design of more efficient photoelectrocatalytic systems.
