My research focuses on developing carbon-supported photothermal catalysts for CO₂ conversion into value-added fuels and chemicals. The project investigates how carbon properties, plasma pre-treatment, and metal-carbon interactions influence CO₂ activation, catalytic activity, stability, and product selectivity. By establishing structure-property-performance relationships, this research aims to develop selective photothermal catalysts using abundant carbon-based materials as supports, providing a more sustainable approach to CO₂ recycling and clean fuel production.
