Project summary
My PhD research focuses on developing efficient electrocatalysts and electrolyser systems for sustainable, on-site hydrogen peroxide production through the two-electron oxygen reduction reaction. The project investigates catalyst design, interfacial microenvironment control, electrode structures, and reactor configurations. A central goal is to improve hydrogen peroxide selectivity, productivity, stability, and scalability under practically relevant operating conditions, while understanding how catalyst structure, water management, oxygen transport, and local ion transport affect device performance.
