Rishav Prasad

My research focuses on optimising resource allocation across renewable-powered industrial systems. I develop quantitative techno-economic and value-flow models to evaluate how capital, energy, and feedstocks can be strategically allocated to maximise long-term economic, fiscal, and decarbonisation outcomes. My current work applies this approach to public funding in sectors such as green ammonia, green iron, and emerging energy-intensive tech infrastructure, but the broader aim is to inform evidence-based decisions on energy, infrastructure, and industrial policy. Through integrated system-level modelling, I seek to support efficient, resilient, and value-creating pathways for industrial decarbonisation.
