Yihao Shan

ADr Yihao Shan is a postdoctoral research associate in PartCat group within School of Chemical Engineering and ARC Centre of Excellence for Carbon Science& innovation.

His doctoral research primarily focused on water electrolysis, including electrocatalyst development, stack scale-up and commercialization, and the integration of photovoltaic electrolysis systems for solar-driven hydrogen production. His current research centres on the development of nanoscale electrocatalysts and their applications across multiple electrochemical reactions, including CO2 reduction, C-N coupling, and broader industrially relevant electrocatalytic processes.He also contributes to producing clean aviation fuel from CO2 in Trailblazer Recycling & Clean Energy (TRaCE).
