Project summary
My project focuses on the electrocatalysis reduction of nitro-organic compounds using carbon-based catalysts. The research contents mainly include the carbon-based catalyst synthesis and characterisation, electroreduction mechanism of nitro-aromatics study and relative electrocatalysis performance analysis. My project is aiming to achieve a broader range of nitroarene substrates, enabling low-waste, renewable-electricity-compatible and scalable continuous-flow manufacturing of fine chemicals.
