This work reports a high-density graphene/sulfur assembly for compact Li–S batteries with high volumetric capacity, which retains good structural stability and conductivity.

Complete surface coverage of ZnO nanorod arrays by pulsed electrodeposited CuInS2 for visible light energy conversion

This communication reports the synthesis of well-aligned ZnO nanorods which were uniformly coated with a layer of CuInS2 nanoparticle photosensitizers using a tailored sequential pulsed electrodeposition.

Solar hydrogen evolution using a CuGaS2 photocathode improved by incorporating reduced graphene oxide

The effectiveness of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) in water reduction on a CuGaS2 photocathode was demonstrated. The incorporated RGO dramatically enhanced the cathodic photocurrent of the CuGaS2 photoelectrode under visible light irradiation.

Ni-SiO2 catalyst for the CO2 reforming of Methane: varying support properties by Flame Spray Pyrolysis

In this special issue of Molecules, we report the use of Flame Spray Pyrolysis (FSP) to synthesise silica as a support for Ni-based catalysts for the Dry Reforming of Methane.

RSC Adv., 2015,5, 5231-5236 DOI: 10.1039/C4RA13464H

Visible light-induced photocurrent generation and photoelectrochemical stability of p-type Cu2O–CuO photocathodes are improved significantly upon incorporating an interlayer of TiO2 between Cu2O and CuO.

J. Am. Chem. Soc., 2015, 137 (2), pp 604–607 DOI: 10.1021/ja511615s

The  work reported here provide new and significant knowledge on the construction of efficient solar water splitting systems employing various metal sulfides and reduced Graphene Oxide/TiO2 composite.
