This communication reports the synthesis of well-aligned ZnO nanorods which were uniformly coated with a layer of CuInS2 nanoparticle photosensitizers using a tailored sequential pulsed electrodeposition.
The effectiveness of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) in water reduction on a CuGaS2 photocathode was demonstrated. The incorporated RGO dramatically enhanced the cathodic photocurrent of the CuGaS2 photoelectrode under visible light irradiation.
In this special issue of Molecules, we report the use of Flame Spray Pyrolysis (FSP) to synthesise silica as a support for Ni-based catalysts for the Dry Reforming of Methane.
Visible light-induced photocurrent generation and photoelectrochemical stability of p-type Cu2O–CuO photocathodes are improved significantly upon incorporating an interlayer of TiO2 between Cu2O and CuO.
The work reported here provide new and significant knowledge on the construction of efficient solar water splitting systems employing various metal sulfides and reduced Graphene Oxide/TiO2 composite.
This paper show the benefits of producing α-MoO3 thin films with defined crystal facets and an iso-oriented layered structure for in situ storing of excited charges.
The paper reported the different morphologies and phases of WO3 that can be achieved by hydrothermal synthesis method and how Pt deposit on the WO3 nanostructures enhanced its photocatalytic properties.
The method highlighted here simplified the multi-step procedures required to prefabricate silica hollow spheres and post loading of perfluorocarbon.
The present work reported the effect of metal doping on morphology evolution and electronic alteration of ZnO nanocrystal.
